After a year of heartbreak, hope and hard work, we’ve re-opened the doors to Marr Lodge – and this time, we’re back stronger than ever. Following a devastating arson attack in September 2024, the much-loved community pub has undergone a £1.2 million rebuild.

Now, with a refreshed look, new team, and an expanded menu, we’re welcoming guests back for memorable meals and good times.

From carvery roots to full dining experience

For years, Marr Lodge has been known as the go-to spot for hearty daytime dining and classic carveries – not only from the people of the local village, but wider Doncaster too. This isn’t going anywhere and remains at the heart of the pub. But with the reopening, there’s something new to get excited about: we’ve launched evening dining!

Whether you’re stopping by for a midweek bite, celebrating with friends, or enjoying a weekend meal out, Marr Lodge now offers a full menu of freshly prepared dishes designed to tempt every appetite – from midday to evening.

What’s on the new menu?

The brand-new menu balances familiar favourites with exciting new flavours. Think tender steaks, juicy stacked burgers, sizzling sharers, and lighter plates for when you fancy something a little fresher. Traditional pub classics, from hand-battered fish and chips to comforting pies, sit proudly alongside more modern dishes and international cuisines, giving guests the best of both worlds.
